• <h3>Arrival and timing</h3><p>Arrive in good time before your chosen entry slot to make the most of the space. The dedicated entrance means you can head straight in without joining the general queue, so there is no need to arrive excessively early, but allow yourself a few minutes to collect your free booklet guide at the door.</p><h3>Getting around the basilica</h3><p>Your ticket covers the full cathedral and the crypts below. Booklet guides are available free of charge in French, English, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Polish and Czech. Audio guides can be hired on the day for an additional fee of €3 if you prefer a narrated tour.</p><h3>During your visit</h3><ul><li>This is an active place of worship, so please keep noise to a minimum and be respectful of other visitors.</li><li>Switch your phone to silent before entering.</li><li>Photography for personal use is generally permitted in the public areas, but avoid using flash near the tombs and sculptures.</li><li>Food and drink are not permitted inside the basilica.</li></ul>
