Practical information

Know before you go

• Venue Location: Check your ticket confirmation for the exact venue address and plan your journey accordingly, as London theatre venues may be located in different districts throughout the city.
• Arrival Time: Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the performance begins to allow time for security checks, finding your seats, and purchasing interval refreshments if desired.
• Dress Code: Smart casual to formal attire is recommended for London theatre performances, though there is typically no strict dress code enforced at most venues.
• Mobile Phones: Ensure mobile phones are switched off or set to silent mode during the performance, as they can disturb other audience members and the performers.
• Late Arrivals: Many venues have strict policies regarding late arrivals and may not admit audience members until a suitable break in the performance occurs.
• Accessibility Services: Contact the venue directly if you require wheelchair access, hearing loops, or other accessibility services to ensure appropriate arrangements are made for your visit.
