Visitor guidelines

• Begin your journey at the main entrance of Liria Palace, conveniently set opposite the Ventura Rodríguez metro station in Madrid. On presenting your entry ticket, you’ll be welcomed by a professional guide who will set the stage for a fascinating 90-minute guided tour conducted entirely in Spanish. Remember to arrive promptly as tours start at the scheduled time and entry may not be granted to latecomers.
• The Liria Palace is a symbol of Spanish nobility and the private residence of the distinguished House of Alba. Constructed in the late 18th century, its neoclassical architecture is matched by a rich legacy of art and culture that you will encounter throughout your visit.
• This tour also grants entry to the special exhibition Flamboyant by Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos. Her vibrant contemporary installations bring a fresh dimension to the palace’s historic rooms, creating a striking dialogue between old and new. Enjoy the freedom to take in both Vasconcelos’s artworks and the palace’s exclusive archives.
• With a maximum of 15 guests per group, you’ll benefit from a more personal interaction with the guide. Take the opportunity to ask questions, engage in discussion and discover insights about the collection, history and daily life of the House of Alba.
• Enhance your visit with a complimentary digital audio guide, available in several languages and accessible using a QR code at the beginning of your tour. The palace’s main floors are accessible, though please note the gardens are not suitable for wheelchairs. Guide dogs are permitted on the property.
